Successfully transformed Harold Holliday Montessori School within three years, leading to improved practices, accessibility, and quality experiences for students, families, and staff.
Executed and implemented strategies to recruit and retain Montessori educators, securing funding to train over 30 trainees (2017–2021). More than 40 assistants earned AMI Assistant Course certifications, 15+ staff and 7 administrators completed AMI Core Principles certifications, and one vice principal finished AMI Teacher Training.
Established pathways for assistants to become certified teachers and partnered with Montessori Training Center Northeast to create a satellite AMI training center in Kansas City Public Schools, enrolling 21 trainees in 2022.
Doubled school enrollment in three years and built strong partnerships with caregivers and community stakeholders.
Secured $1+ million to expand Montessori training programs, cover trainee salaries, and support substitute teachers.
Due to transformative success, was recruited to lead both of Kansas City Public School’s largest public Montessori schools.
Served as the Executive Principal of both KCPS Montessori schools.
Promoted to serve as Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum Instruction and Professional Development.
Established and implemented the Caregivers as Partners concept at KCPS Montessori Schools.
Spearheaded the first Regional Montessori Conference in Kansas City Montessori.
